Fuzzy Logic Assignment

Fuzzy Logic is a new generation of technology. Fuzzy Logic acts like a human brain that allows it to think and solve problems like a human mind would. It is better than binary logic because binary logic does not work like a brain would. Using fuzzy logic would make life easier for humans. For example, a microwave that has fuzzy logic will know when the food has become warm enough. It also works for a camcorder, laundry machine, coffe maker, and other machines. Using fuzzy logic is better because it is also cheap.

2. If a lamp is 70 percent off, then how much is it on? Explain.
30 percent; it must add up to a full condition of 100 percent.

3. What condition does the plateau on the dotted line represent?
The lamp is 100 percent on or 100 percent off.

4. What can you infer from the slope angles?
The speed at which the switch is changed
5. How would this graph be different if the process were controlled by binary logic
The slopes would be parallel to the y-axis, representing instantaneous change.
